2023 SCHOLARSHIPS
OMPACO is once again announcing a scholarship for individuals in Tanzania who are pursuing a degree or certificate in a program that aligns with OMPACO’s mission. The application is open to teachers, nurses, doctors, and therapists who wish to further their skill set to better serve children in their community. SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
In the fall of 2022, OMPACO announced a scholarship for individuals in Tanzania who were pursuing a degree or certificate in a program that aligns with OMPACO’s mission. The application was open to teachers, nurses, doctors, and therapists who wished to further their skill set to better serve children in their community. We received a good number of qualified applications. From them, three outstanding individuals were awarded scholarships to support their training in 2023. In addition, we continued to fund training for two 2021 scholarship recipients.

2020 SCHOLARSHIP
In 2020, OMPACO awarded a scholarship to Seraphia Felisian to support her schooling in nursing. This scholarship supported her in her path to becoming the Nursing School Director at Dareda Hospital. Learn more here.
