YEFTA STEVEN MORISS

Yefta Steven Moriss is a PhD candidate in Education management and planning from Tanzania. His interest is on the influences of strategic planning upon the improvement of management of public schools in Tanzania. He is focusing on issues related to interdisciplinary approach that looks at how interprofessional, private organizations, and public entities interact within complex economic, sociopolitical, and ideological contexts to shape educational system creation and implementation. He has worked on numerous government sectors and different private collaborative projects. He is currently working as Child Survival Project Implementer.

He received his MA studies at the St. Augustine University of Tanzania in 2015. In his thesis, he explored the influence of school guidance and counseling programmes upon students’ academic performance in selected public secondary schools. He is happy and appreciative to know any he has been selected as a recipient of the OMPACO scholarship, and he will receive support from OMPACO as his collaborating partners to further his studies.
