All gifts are deductible as specified by law. Matching GiftsMany businesses and corporations match, dollar for dollar, employee donations to the charity of their choice. Some businesses match gifts of retired employees and of employee spouses. Some employers also make financial contributions as a match for volunteer hours contributed by employees to the charity of their choice. Please check with your employer to see if your contribution to OMPACO can be matched. Gifts of Appreciated StockOutright gifts of stock (held by the donor for 18 months or longer) to charitable organizations can benefit donors and charitable organizations alike. Donors of stock can eliminate capital gains taxes, avoid income tax on gifted stock and receive tax deductions for the full value of the stock.
